I’m thrilled to share that I’m currently working on Daisies in the Wind, a deeply personal composition that will be featured at the upcoming CME Concert at UAB. The piece will be performed by MIDI on December 4 — and I’d love for you to join us for this special premiere!

Daisy in the Wind has been in the works for nearly a year. It’s a tribute to the incredible women in the Pessoa family, with each movement dedicated to a different family member. At its heart, this piece honors the memory of Daisy Bentes Pessoa and Sandra Bentes Pessoa — two remarkable women we continue to miss dearly.
